A new 2.4 satellite dish has recently been mounted in the garden giving problem free Sky television. Presently there is a telephone and broadband connection through Skype.
An oil tank outside the house fuels the boiler (in the garage) which supplies hot water and central heating to radiators to all rooms.
Outside again – the lawn has an automatic watering system which is controlled from inside the house. The garage has ample space for a car plus a workbench and storage for equipment, the floor is tiled and, again, there is an ample supply of power points.

The motorway to Madrid is a five minute drive from the house and it is only a 30 minute drive to Alicante airport.
The olive trees provide a small income depending on the annual harvest.
For an emergency ambulance service to those who do not speak Spanish, a local Englishman has set up a system whereby the situation of the house is identified by a specific number which only needs to be quoted on calling them.
There are several English families as well as Spanish living in the close vicinity.
